Sophia's Summary

Pia loves fairytales such as The Little Mermaid by Hans Christian Andersen. As a part of her listening comprehension, she was required to write a summary using a story grammar template.

What Pia Wrote:


Somebody: The Littile mermaid
Wanted: She want to be a pearson with a sol
But: She neds to be love by the Prics
So: She went to the wick
In the end: She dayd and beceym an engel.




What Pia Meant:

Somebody: The little mermaid

Wanted: She wants to be a person with a soul.

But: She needs to be loved by the Prince

So: She went to the wick

In the end: She died and became an angel.
