What I Learned About Helen Keller

By Jakey

Helen Keller was born in June 27, 1880 at Tuscumbia, Alabama. Helen had gold hair, sturdy arms and legs. She was blind and deaf because of a high fever when she was young. Her father was a captain of the civil war and he owned his own newspaper.

Her traits were first, a bad girl when she was young because she broke other people’s toys, ate her birthday cake when she didn’t know it was her birthday and dipped her fingers in other people’s plates when they were eating. Second, she was kind when her teacher, Miss Anne came. She cooperated with her. Helen also did not hit her dog, Belle, and she did not squeeze her kittens. Third, she was patient because she kept on learning the words.

I think that Helen is bright because she studied a lot of things, like how to talk, how the Braille alphabet works and how she could speak.
