Young Wolf by Matthew

Young Wolf (from the book by Janice Shefelman) was an Indian boy. He was 10 years old. His father’s name was Eagle Feather. His mother’s name was Voice of the Sunrise. His grandfather’s name was He – Bear. The name of his horse is Red Wind.

The problem started when he wanted to join the buffalo run but his father said no because he was too young. The problem was solved when he had to practice with his horse for the buffalo run, then his father allowed it. In the end, he killed a calf, and then he made friends with Little Big Mouth. Young Wolf learned that it was okay to be afraid because he will become a man when he does things that he is afraid of.

Matthew likes to play soccer with his friends. He enjoys singing and watching movies.
